i guess this is long enough.

wow holy crap i'm so tired right now but I dont even know why I'm still up at such an hour. I seriously need to stop sleeping at these times. it'll make me look horrible in the morning :/. I havent been making long ass entries so this one is gonna be the chain breaker. raaaar, Von asked me about my hair a few days ago when I just cut it. She was asking me if I dyed my hair because it had a faint brown colour to it. I was really surprised because I dont even dye my hair! I always thought that it was black! I went back and looked at some pictures on my computer and I found this one pic that shows exactly what von was talking about

See what I mean? Me and my sis took that pic back in January during my Houston trip. ironically it was also after I just got my haircut! it's frickin weird! that means that i'm not the only one because one of my younger cousins has the same exact hair colour as me. From what I study in bio during sec school, this might sound ridiculous but I think my mom and my aunt is a carrier of some weird hair colour gene from my grandparents or great grandparents. Because i'm not the only one since my younger cousin has it. My mom was telling me like how she thinks that I inherited my grandpa's obsession with anything that has to do with music ahaha. I always wanted my grandpa to teach me how to play the violin but sadly he passed away before that could happen :(. its alright i'll find myself a violin teacher one day and also i'd like to teach my children how to play the guitar in the future!

oh yea, that also reminds me of something stupid AHAH. Like 2 years back, I was doing this switch over from acoustic guitar to electric guitar and at first my dad taught me some basic riffs and power chords. So i told him 'dad, i'm tired of learning deep purple's smoke on the water. Can I learn some heavier riffs instead?'. Sad to say my dad gave me this 'wtf dream on kiddo' look. So i took the initiative to learn the intro riff, verse and chorus for 1 song. 'Dying in your Arms' by Trivium. AHAHA. okay fine its not THAT heavy but holy crap i spent the entire night from 11pm to 9am just trying to learn those parts. It felt so good to play it infront of my dad the next day, even though it had TONS of mistakes :P. and of course, i skipped the solo. maybe I should do a cover of the song soon just for old times sake. 'I'm wearing thin, wearing out, becoming weak. Holding hands with this rope, shes my self-destructive!' my favourite line from that song :D

Well I also havent really talked about the other members in band. Our new Vocalist is Qahar and hes 20 something. He's alright in terms of vocals but in some songs his voice is really good so we're kinda experimenting him with different kinds of songs. Our drummer is a close friend of halim, a guy called Shaieful but we know him as Chep. Hes so much better than me and halim on the guitar and hes also good in drums. Halim & Chep suggested that we should perform on Teacher's Day but i'm not sure where exactly its going to be at. It definately wont be at Jack's sec sch because he hates his school so its either between my school or halim and chep's school. I would really want to perform again because its just so much fun! Songs like this year's most open heartbreak, the feel good drag and smashed into peices just makes us feel so energetic when we play it! The riffs and the solos makes it really fun to play.

But of course if we are to perform for teacher's day, dont expect us to play heavy songs like hey john. even though its awesome, its just inappropriate for the bloody situation lah! D: So i'm thinking of a couple of good songs to play and so far what isn't heavy in my opinion is 4am forever by lost prophets. It good because it has a solo!!! I was also thinking of a particular song by escape the fate... but got some screamo eh. we'll see how lah. Its called 'Theres no sympathy for the dead' :D :D :D. the song is nice but learning the solo will be a bitch. :(. atleast 4am forever's solo isnt that hard! bah its still in early stages so as of yet, its not confirmed. I hope this entry is long enough because i've been wanting to do a long ass entry for quite sometime. i'm gonna sleep at 4am because of this entry. 'I hope you know, you're letting go. its 4am and i'm alooooone! *awesome solo kicks in*' ahaha ok i'm really blabbering nonsense right now.

oh my goodness. words cannot describe how beautiful the song is and chester bennington sang it with such raw emotion! I decided to listen to some old LP song a few days back and I stumbled upon this video and i was hooked by it ever since. This shows the soft side of Linkin Park and shows what an amazing vocalist they have! I used to listen to the normal version of 'pushing me away' all the time but Ive never heard the piano version. I used to listen to that song and 'my december' all the time when I was a kid. Confession: I felt really lonely when I was young okay. no more, no less. thats why I got hooked with them since Hybrid Theory. alright, enjoy the video guys :D.

You know what? I dont even know what else to say because I keep getting hooked by the video :D. i'll update tonight because I know I had something to say but I totally forgot what it was because of the video AHAA. ok ok, off to bed.

ants.

Liverpool 5 - 0 Singapore. totally expected scoreline. I'm not a liverpool fan but I still watched the march at home and frankly speaking it was a boring match. Singapore's defence were like ants running around while Liverpool players were making a fool out of them. We have to give credit for the singapore players cause they represented our country but we also have to admit that we're totally not up to standard yet. Give it 10 years and we'll still be like that if we dont change the way we play soccer. maybe a solid coach would strengthen the team eh? anyways Kuyt was probably the man of the match because he created so much havoc on the right side. That new guy Nemeth from Hungary is also good and I can't wait to see him play in the premier league. Torres was a disappointment for the match because hes unfit now.

Anyways we didnt perform yesterday because we had trouble with the tickets so we decided to call it off. Halim is having 5 days mc for his high fever so we're gonna wait for him to recover before we move on to another gig.

I'm not entirely sure what im doing up so late but oh well. blame starbucks :P. to be precise, blame mocha frapuccino for keeping me up. I like the caramel from coffee bean better but theres no coffee bean nearby :(. okay sleep time! gnite ppls! :D

sleepy sleepy

this is gonna be a short one because i'm sleepy as hell. I just wanna say that we didnt perform just now because we had trouble with the tickets. I havent been updating lately because i'm just so damn lazy :P. ok ok tonight! i promise! :D

solar eclipse?

alright there will be a partial solar eclipse in singapore at around 8:39am tmr so be outside around that time to look at the sun. i'm a little disappointed cause we decided to cancel children of the night cause our vocalist isn't ready for it. WHYYYYYYYYYY?! its his song choice! bah, nvm. anyways me and halim practiced our 7 songs last night and its going very well :D. the theft is complete, feel good drag is 90% done and children of the night is 75% done. you can see why I was excited to play those songs. We'll be playing at the gossip bar at 4pm this saturday so if you want to come, buy the tickets from me! Katherina will also be performing there at 5pm so its gonna be a blast! :D. oh and i'm also gonna cut my hair tmr at gombak at night cause its getting long. It feels damn uncomfortable lah. tmr is also my go-back-to-school day after 6 days of MC. okay im gonna end it here, remember solar eclipse guys! i'll update tmr!

Sorry if I havent been updating lately but as you all know, I have been very sick these days and it just sucks up my energy, leaving me restless and lazy :P. first of all I would like to say HAPPY BDAY FIZZ. I think the guys took him out to watch harry potter? haha I hope they had fun :). anyways I met up with Faizal, Syamil, Kawi and Jon just now to play soccer at pending. wah its been awhile since ive played soccer. My stamina is next to nothing now so I really need to do some running asap! But however all of us enjoyed the whole session because we played quite well considering the fact that its our first time playing together.

Anyways I have been delaying this entry for quite awhile now lah and its almost 12:45 :|. I was busy watching youtube videos of this guy doing many cartoon impersonations. aaah omg I cant stop laughing xD. frickin funny impersonations. alright before I end I gotta say that thank god the inflammation of my left tonsil stopped and its not super huge now. My dad said that if by tonight my tonsil is super swollen again, we may have to remove BOTH of my tonsils by surgery like he did when he was young. wah no no no. but my tonsil was really swollen lah it was super hard for me to even swallow my pills. Can you imagine having the pill stuck at your throat walls thus choking you? ugh :x. ah well I gotta go to sleep now so i'll end it here.

if youre wondering why im updating my blog at such a time, its because I woke up from my sleep about an hour ago. The left side of my throat feels like its really swollen and I can't even sleep in peace. I went to the doctor again yesterday and he gave me more medicine because the initial ones he gave didn't seem to work. blah so that means I have to swallow like 5 or 6 pills 3 times a day :(.

Its damn painful lah especially when I swallow those pills. Its like putting pressure on the swollen part everytime I swallow someting. I almost puked on atleast 2 of those 6 pills just now heh. stupid high fever... I hope I dont get throat infection and end up in the hospital like Aidil. You know to think of it, isnt it the same thing that happened to aidil? I hope my throat stops swelling because I can't sleep!!! I cant even open my mouth wide let alone talk properly without it hurting like crap. BAH. nvm im gonna force myself to sleep. i'm damn grumpy so I shall end it here.
