its early morning, why am i not sleeping?!

Who knew line6 pod could record more than just my guitar?! :D Yes thats another cover by me. actually its a short clip of the whole song i recorded from my line6 pod while fooling around with my guitar. My parents wanted me to sing this song so I did. its a hard song for me to sing but i think my cover is average. My voice is a little shaky but 1 thing is for sure, the guy's voice for that song is bloody hard to get right so i tried my best to sound like that guy. I remember my dad singing this to my mom when I was very young. I think it was on their anniversary or something? ahaha I remember my dad coming into the room with the guitar and singing this song to my mom. At that time I was like 'wtf is wrong with this guy? hes singing this at midnight???' but now I think it was rather romantic hahahha. oh and use your earphones, it sounds so much clearer if you use them!



I sang this around 3am yesterday. I was actually recording my own song on my guitar, editing here and there but the rain made me very moody. Yes, it rained just now around 3am to 4am. So instead of recording the guitar parts for my song I decided to do this song instead. who knew my pod could record more than just guitar?! You will definitely notice better audio quality compared to my Jason Mraz cover because i'm using my microphone through my Line6 Pod instead of using my camera. I tried as best as possible to make it sound like a studio recording and that's what I got :D. I'll do other covers soon and i'll also take requests! (if i can sing them :P)

By the way, we're not going to perform on teacher's day because they didnt reply us so we decided to let it be. its okay its better to watch ANBERLIN this sunday :D... I was going to sing 'here without you' by 3 doors down if we were to perform on teacher's day but oh well nevermind, ANBERLIN!!! i'll update soon because my cousin Tarmidi is dropping by to finish Ultimate Alliance with me on my ps2. ahah its to 'relive' our sega saturn days.

5 weeks off baby! :D :D :D. Anberlin's performance this sunday, teacher's day performance on friday (maybe) and a lot of things to do now that its the holidays. It was sad to leave my classmates who i've bonded well with just like that but there's nothing we can do. what to do... the sch want to be different. Their concept of being different failed miserably. oh well, we'll still keep in touch with each other for the next sem.

Me and halim are still thinking of songs to play IF we are performing for teacher's day. The problem is the both schools (me and his) havent replied to us yet. Its no surprise because halim delayed asking his school for god knows how long -.- tsk. typical. We were thinking of playing some acoustic songs aswell like unwinding cable car and breaking by anberlin!! Our vocalist Qahar to my suprise, can actually sing as high as Stephen from Anberlin! His vocals for feel good drag is just wow. we also planned to play some breaking benjamin songs. like breath, diary of jane, blow me away. We even wanted to sing some Jason Mraz song.. but if the whole thing isnt happening, well I dunno.

anyways Niko saw me listening to Chris Brown on msn so he did this....

blah I totally got the sentence wrong in french.. i think. Its either im saying HE's the asshole or i'm saying I'M the asshole. that bugger wouldnt tell me :x. I shall learn more french words from Niko! muahah.

I'm gonna finish up the song that I composed on my own in about a few days. As it stands, it sounds good in my opinion with awesome yet simple riffs :D. you guys will get to listen to it soon. Next sunday is BAYBEATS!!! omg omg omg I cant wait to watch Anberlin! I wanna watch them perform the unwinding cable car and breaking on their acoustic set at 7pm. For the real set at 11pm(i think), i wanna watch them play feel good drag, whisper & a clamor and PAPERTHIN HYMN!!!

Anyways Mizi and Fizz went to my house yesterday to de-stress because their exams are coming. We played guitar, watch videos of SNSD and Wondergirls, Vitas, guitar and vocal covers, funny videos and finally we watched Harold and Kumar go to white castle! Funny movie! :D It was funny as hell to see Fizz's reaction when me and mizi showed him Vitas. No its not the 'siren' voice sound. Theres 1 performance from him that's even higher than that. Here i'll show you guys. Its not the 'siren voice'.. You will soon find out the highest pitch sounds that a human can make. The first time I saw it a few years back I was like 'omg is that sound even possible coming out from a person's mouth?!'

The song is written by Vitas for his mother. Its really beautiful in my opinion even though it has no lyrics. Just fa fa fa fa la la la fa fa etc. You guys should really listen to the whole song but if you want to listen to the inhuman high pitch scream you should start listening from 2:35. The scream is at 2:44. You really cant miss that!

a little busy

Its my so called exam week before our 5 weeks off so I can't really say much right now. I have to study so i'll update this entry soon, promise!

my sister has two cars in the US, Mercedes S350 and Audi TT. So i decided to look at those cars on sgcarmart.com and oh my goodness the price tag almost killed me. Mercedes S350 costs $326,888 and the monthly installment is $3,138 per month. Audi TT is $230,000 and the monthly installment is $2,208 per month. Add that up together and you'll see how much my sis pays per month for her cars. wah. My sis and my brother in law are really hardworking when it comes to their job. no wonder they can afford those cars :|. I talked to my brother in law John a few days back and he told me that his new job in LA is paying him 20k USD per month while my sister's new job is also paying her quite a sum of money. I think its around 4k for her, im not sure. I think I speak for everyone else when I say this: what. the. hell???

WAHLAU. seriously, just send me two thousand bucks and i'll fly my ass off to LA. i'll endure 23 hours of butt stiffness in the plane just for you guys. how? :D? oh yea, forgot to mention this but they moved from houston to LA a month ago. ORANGE COUNTY BABY! WOO! I cant wait to work under him when I get my diploma WAHAHA. eh thats my secret plan to get rich... shhh. :P

Come onnn you know you wanna buy me a Porsche 911 for my 18th birthday *wink* :D :D :D. Best line ever while i was in US: 'eh sis if you can buy 2 thousand dollar boots, why can't I buy 1 thousand dollar guitar?!' :P. I'm thinking of staying in LA for 3 months really soon. but it depends because I want to take my driving license so... I dunno. now imagine 3 months without Herrizal, omg I think you guys would forget me by 3 months :|. except some people lah :D. those kind of people probably have some sort of 'connection' with me heh. i'm gonna see how lah, i'll tell you guys soon.

LOL. its funny but omg if it happened to me during my wedding, I would so kill whoever's my best man... even if he was my best friend i tell you! I'm just gonna do this entry by editing my previous post so i'll just paste it here and continue it from there. i was going to continue that night but I was so tired :(. alright so here we go, its not a repeated entry because i'm gonna continue from where I stopped.

I've been wanting to this cover for awhile but I just didnt find the time to do it. I was supposed to sing it just now with my couz but she had to go home so that wasn't going to happen. I'm singing Lucky by Jason Mraz featuring Colbie Caillat. I didnt show my face because i'm afraid that it sucks... so I save my face :D. 'we'll hear the musiiiiic, feel the air. i'll put a flower in your hair' haha i love that part :D. I screwed up at some parts :x. I only sang Jason Mraz's part so do feel free to sing along Colbie Caillat's parts if you feel that the video is 'empty'. dont be too harsh on me!

i'll do a longer update in about 1 or 2 hours time cause I have to shower, eat, watch tv etc. for now enjoy the video and tag me with ur comments and if you have any advice, i would really appreciate it :).

13th AUGUST Thursday 3:32AM: I've been mugging like hell lately especially for math. I used to hate it, now I loooove it :D. I slept at 5am yesterday lah -.- I to sleep around 5am because my mom will wake up 30 mins later and turn off the main switch for the aircon. You would probably say ' well you live on the 22th storey, just open your windows'. Its not cold enough!... well for me atleast :P. I need to have atleast 16 degrees celcius temperature for my aircon and my fan blowing on my face. Sometimes my mom gets angry with me because i'll turn it on for the whole night and even the floor tiles will be as cold as ice HAHA.

anyways let me try to sum up my past weekend. Saturday, I went out with aidil, mizi, fizz, isa, fairul. They went to Ion at orchard and unfortunately according to them, it sucks :(. The lower levels are complicated while the upper levels are all boutiques. Prada, LV, Gorgio Armani etc. I met up with mizi and fairul soon after at bugis and well nothing much happened after that. Met up with the others and slacked at illuma's coffeebean talking about 'guy things' AHAHA. i definately can't talk about it here :P. Mizi never fails to make us laugh! ohh, if only you knew what we were talking about. if only you knew.... AHAHAH. National Day was like a scavenger hunt for me trying to search for Johnny, Qais and his girlfriend at the war memorial monument at padang -.- okay i have to go sleep now since its 4plus. i'll update soon!

Hey guys, sorry for not updating lately but i'm pretty busy and lazy nowadays so that's probably why. anyways i'm going out with the guys later for a long awaited outing. Unfortunately its only going to be me, mizi, aidil and fairul but its better than nothing :D. you're gonna find out why I put a niiiice photo of Jolin Tsai up there soon. Few days back in class, me, aaron and faizal talked about girls all day long AHAHA. We were talking about the type of girls that we are into. Me and Aaron are both into girls with fair skin because it looks good :). We dont really prefer girls who are too tanned, no surprises there :P. yeah fair skin girls.... like jolin tsai AHAHA :P. We also came up with this theory:

Everyone wants to have a hot white girl/guy but for us asians, unless you look REALLY pretty/handsome/hot, then you can stand a chance. we must be realistic if you're not one of those above because chances are, you'll never gonna get a white girl/guy. so might aswell go for asians. like rain lah! hes handsome for a korean but why in the hell did he reject megan fox?! dumbass.

Oh yea and Aaron also showed us some videos of Jolin Tsai and SNSD from korea. omg that bastard! he said to me 'to tell you the truth, I dont like their music so I just mute the audio when I look at their videos. i just look at their faces!'. HAHA. Mizi you're gonna love this if you like the wondergirls. My favourite from this group, SNSD is the youngest girl in there. Her name's Seohyun (according to aaron).



Apparently all those pretty girls always come from Japan, Taiwan, Korea etc. No wonder my cousin has a taiwanese girlfriend... :P You know what's funny about girls? If guys talk about hot girls, ohhh its wrong, its a crime to do it. but if girls talk about hot guys, wah its totally fine! nothing's wrong! Its weird but somehow I always sticked to this: guys are meant to lose when going against women. its true. we always have to give in (im not saying its bad), its the 'gentleman' way :/. its the same thing when you watch soccer with girls, the guys will be so focused about the match while the girls be focusing on the soccer players especially when they take out their shirt. right right right?! :P

ok ok i shall stop talking about women before people start chasing me with pitchforks D: anyways I managed to learn a couple of songs this week. its still not complete and for some reason I cant do pinch harmonics now because my favourite guitar pick is gone. :'(. !@$%^! alright im gonna end it here, i'm sleepy as hell.

Anyways I talked to my parents a few days back and they agreed to buy me a car ONLY when I get my driver's license. Oh well, that's good enough. I'm gonna be taking my driving lessons on 11th december and plus I have 3 months holiday on January so i'll probably rush my lessons. Hopefully I get it done by 2 months so I can get my own car! :D. I'm already starting to learn the routes and highways that I have to take to get from one point to another. hehe I cant wait to get my license because finally I can minimize the travel time for me to go anywhere.

anyways minor update tonight. I dont think the word 'tonight' applies at this point of time because its 4:16am. anyways I played soccer with some of my sch friends just now and I even made a couple of new ones who are easy to get along with. I successfully spoiled another pair of shoes while playing soccer. Thats two pairs of shoes under 1 month. Good job Herrizal. -.- I need to sleep because i've been playing my call of duty 4 for a few hours now geez! I want to sleep, you're probably sleeping so lets sleep okay? i'll update soon.
