I hate it how blogger dies when I finished the entry last night -.-. luckily I saved the entry last night so here it is :D.

If you don't know, the iPad has just been introduced but frankly speaking it doesn't excite me. It just looks like an oversized iPhone. Imagine carrying that huge thing around you all the time, its gonna look weird man :x. Its like bringing a digital chalkboard. ehh I'd rather use a laptop instead. anyways, school's gonna end in 1 week! YAY! :D. I have a lot of things planned for the holidays so i'm pretty anxious. Paramore concert, LA trip, the end of Mizi's 7 week BMT, Mizi buying ps3, not having to wake up early etc. Its all goooooood! :).

so I met up with my relatives on sunday and I finally got to see my cousin’s soon to be japanese wife. well not in person because she left s'pore about a week ago so I just saw photos of my cousin and her in his iphone. Shes quite pretty lah, aisey :D. Let me try to remember her name... its eh. Keiko Hirosaki and shes from Osaka! wooo~ Sonny and Keiko. Sounds good ;). My cousin is planning to have the wedding around july/august. I'm not sure if he'll be staying in s'pore or in Japan after that though. hmm? I had a great time with my cousins talking about lots of things like jap traditions, soccer, girls etc. Oh yes, I really need a new phone... but abg sidi told me not to get an iPhone. The reason behind it is that “every tom, dick and harry has a bloody iPhone”. Quoted from him. He uses a frickin Blackberry as a result -.-. Anyways as I was typing about my cousin’s Japanese girlfriend, I remembered something funny. HARD GAY RAMEN OOOOOKAY!!! AHAHAHAHAHA. If you don’t get it, you seriously NEED to watch the video below.

It has been so long since i’ve seen videos of him. He instantly popped up in my mind while thinking about Japanese stuff. I just can’t stop laughing when he goes ‘The soup and the ramen really go well together. For example, you be the noodle while I’ll be the soup.” And then he does his dirty dance. HAHAHHAHA. Diva!

Bah, we didn't eat chilli crab just now because SOMEONE said that it was a bad idea. so we ate some of the normal stuff at bedok corner, char siew rice, bbq chicken and some other stuff. damn it, I wanted my chilli crab :(. We then headed to changi beach to just relax by the waves. it's really relaxing to watch the waves... especially when you have your ipod with you! :D. I wanted to go to Terminal 3 just for fun but my brother said that the parking cost would be expensive. wth. nvm. when I get my license, i'll bring the guys all around singapore. soon soon! :D

anyways i'm gonna start watching this taiwan drama tmr. according to alan, boon and ying xin, this show is pretty good. I was wondering what show Alan and Boon were watching in class so I barged in and they explained to me the whole storyline. Apparently this dork who was getting bullied all the time in school was saved by a girl who he considered his first love. Things went well until something happened and she left for shanghai. He thought that the girl left him so he transformed himself from a dork into a hunk to get revenge. the storyline sounds... SWEET :D. as in you know, sweet revenge? revenge is always sweet. ;). I saw some scenes in class and apparently the guy (dork) is rich as hell that he can afford a ferrari. :O. A FERRARI MAN!!!! i'm totally gonna start watching the show with subtitles of course.

Thank goodness I found this song while randomly browsing through my ipod. the moment i heard the intro on my ipod, I instantly knew what song it was. truly a 'holy ****, this song!' moment. The palm mutes, the intro, the riffs, the singing on the chorus. All of it lah! so damn good. So I didnt go to school just now cause I was down with the sickness. Raj's sickness that is. He pretty much infected the whole class. plus it was raining heavily when I woke up so... yeah :P. Slept for the most part of the day and met up with Mizi, Fizz and Fairul at alif around 9pm. chit chat blah blah blah and I got home at 11:15pm. I've got nothing interesting to say for tonight so let's save it for tmr. Enjoy the song :D.

Quick Update before I crash out and go to sleep.

Me, Fai, Fizz and Mizi went out yesterday to play L4D2 and to catch up. Mizi has so much stories to tell and all of it was really interesting. stories about his bunkmates, activites, ghost stories... Pulau Tekong has alot of those 'things' according to him. ehh scary man! anyways after our L4D2 session we headed to Orchard Central and just sat and talked at coffee bean. Nothing much happened just talk and talk until Mizi's sister came to pick us up by car. Somebody needs to get a license and a car soon so we can meet up more regularly :D. *looks at fizz*

Today is the usual Lazy Sunday for me. Woke up at 2pm and slacked the entire day. Watched TV and played command and conquer tiberium wars on my lappy. Khai asked me to play it so I did. holy crap that game can be VERY frustrating at times. i'm gonna slack and play games in class tmr. My class is turning into a lan shop. everyone's playing Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 or Tiberium Wars. Just a few days ago we had a 3 on 3 match during lesson. me, khai and marc vs ryan, boon and raj. Epic battle man! felt like a bloody war :P. Jag, Wayne and Darren may be playing with us soon so it'll be fun!

here comes my occasional rant. so I was talking to mizi and um, I found out something. All I can say is, O RLY? riiiiiiiight. like as if women don't do the exact same thing. you know what's funny? I can tell that you that most guys who actually do any particular girl a favour has at least the slightest amount of attraction. You know a favour when its genuine, but you can also tell if there is a hidden meaning behind it. Girls sense that all the time, while guys tend to keep it quiet. Come on, don't tell me that a guy doing a favour for a girl has no motive behind it whatsoever. I'm not implying that all guys have a hidden agenda behind every move but.... most. especially when it comes to interacting with the opposite gender. if you don't notice that, well you're just blind then. remember, there's no free lunch in this world.

Of course a guy secretly wants something back in return. usually a guy just takes it like a man if his 'good deed' isn't returned. but sometimes we feel hurt and used too. (yes guys have feelings too.) its not about being ungrateful. its the fact that guys have their pride too and it has NOTHING to do with ego. think about it this way, if a girl 'uses' a guy to do a lot of favours, this and that. its totally justified for the guy to feel angry. why? because the girl's a fucking asshole. Now if we change that situation where the girl doesn't ask the guy for favours but he keeps bombarding her with it. well, now that's the guy's fault. but girls always misunderstand the next part. the guy does not feel used nor does he feel angry at the girl. okay maybe a little. but for the most part. he's angry at himself, not you.

but I still think that a girl using a guy to do her bidding is just fucking stupid. <--
ps: It has nothing to do with me so yeah :P

Mizi's back!!!

There's gonna be an outing tmr for mizi. its basically a small outing since its mizi's book out so hopefully we'll actually do something fun this time round, if you know what I mean. :P

One thousand miles away, there's nothing left to say.

Isa's performance at the Esplanade was a seriously good performance. They covered Bad Romance, Fly me to the Moon, ABC 123 Doremi, Pokerface, Use Somebody and some of his originals. So awesome! I have the videos in my Camera so i'll upload it soon. The sound is very clear too. Their harmony on the chorus of Bad Romance was..... wow. so good. The best thing is that Isa got invited to play at the esplanade.. AGAIN! February, May and October but he turned down the february and may invitation because hes busy. Isa's just brimming with talent and its nice to see him get some well deserved spotlight. I already told him to make an acoustic cover of Replay by Iyaz. I cant wait for his own version, I just know its going rock! :D. I wish he'd do more Jason Mraz songs though.

Helloooo~ Weekends are here so i'll spend the time resting and lazing around. If you're wondering what i've been doing this past week, that video pretty much shows what i've been working on. My fingers have blisters from overplaying. Halim's acoustic guitar has a really nice sound to it so even if it hurts my fingers, its still fun to play. The video is supposed to be a guitar INSTRUMENTAL but I sang at some parts to make it easier for me to sync when I do the vocals for that cover. In other words, I sang at some parts to get the timing right. Not too slow or not too fast when I eventually decide to do the vocals. It's just a compilation of the parts where I sing so if you wanna see the full cover, you gotta wait... until I have the 'feel' to do so. hah. i'm just lazy. I'm gonna redo it soon because I just learned Percussive Muting on youtube after I made that so yeah haha.

Remember its ISA's original song. Credits to him for making such a nice song. He's gonna be performing at the ESPLANADE concourse this monday 7:10pm. Me and the guys are gonna be there to support him! :D. woohoo Isa's going places! finally he gets some well deserved spotlight :).

Mizi called me in the late afternoon just now. He said Tekong is so boring because hes PES C9. He told me that they just kept staying in their bunks. Since hes PES C9, the training wont be that tough physically. Mizi's fit and normal like the rest of us but he has something missing in his heart that normal people like you and me have. :(. I'm not sure what it is but as a precaution they put him in PES C9. I'll be planning a l4d2 outing for him when he books out next friday :D. okay thats all for tonight, i'll update later tonight.

This is gonna be a short update. School has officially started and it was okay for the first day. I just kept watching Failblog on youtube to pass the time :D. Mizi's in Pulau Tekong already and he texted me just now saying that everything's fine. The first day was just admin stuff so he didn't get to exercise yet. He'll probably take what's thrown at him like a man :D.

I'm not feeling good too, I think something I ate is giving me food poisoning. I feel nauseous every once in a while. what else shall I put in here. Oh yes, Isa will be performing at the Esplanade Concourse next monday and tuesday. 715pm and 8pm for those two days if im not wrong. That guy is going places! :D I'm gonna be there to support him. 4 more weeks and we get 2 months off. I can make it... 4 more weeks!!!

I'm supposed to plan a L4D2 outing for mizi and the guys when he books out after his 2 weeks confinement. 4 vs 4 anyone? :D. Its gonna be fun as hell IF we have 8 people. i'm gonna crash out on my bed now. i'll update soon.

first impression

So I just woke up about 2 mins ago and I realized that I fell asleep while updating my blog last night. like that has never happened before... -_-. So yes, its 2010! 2009 was... ehh okay ups and downs.. it wasn't a great year so i'm looking forward to 2010. Okay I didnt go out for countdown because I was dead tired. I was literally sleeping when s'pore was counting down to 2010. I woke up at exactly 12:02am and was like 'eh.. its new year. okay. back to sleep'. Our 'seoul garden' plan got screwed up big time because a lot of people couldn't go at the last minute. In the end it was me, mizi and fizz so we decided to eat at pizza hut. Fairul dropped by soon after and we went for L4D2 at bukit timah. shitty place, I prefer dhoby ghaut. We played L4D there for two hours and since it was fizz and mizi's first experience, it was better than usual. Constantly getting shocked by hunters, smokers, charger etc. It made such a good impression on Mizi and Fizz that they wanted to play it 1 more time before mizi goes to NS this monday :(.

So I overheard my mom saying to my dad that she wanted to buy me a new phone, possibly an Iphone because she didnt get for me anything for my bday. I dont really care about a new phone or anything fancy so i'm not pushing it. but if she does buy for me, then I was thinking of buying her an LV pouch or something. Her bday's coming too so I guess it'll be like an early gift. I think I just might do that, :D. Mizi's going to Tekong on Monday! D: Hes already botak too! -_-. we gotta spend time with him before he says goodbye to freedom. update soon! ;)
